Instructions for Using Healthie

About NGI

#1:  How to sign up for Healthie

  • When you schedule an appointment with Nutritional Guidance, Inc., you will automatically be joined into the Healthie system which serves as your patient account.
  • You will receive a welcome email from Healthie Notifier with the subject: Karen Beerbower has added you to Healthie.
  • Follow the prompt: set up your account in the welcome email and create a password.  Click Login.
  • You are done!

Note:  For all future communications, go to: and log into your account.

#2:  How to sign in for your tele-health session

  • You will receive an email and text confirmation of your appointment that you made by phone with Nutritional Guidance.
  • You will receive a reminder from GetHealthie 4 days and then 1 day prior to your appointment.

To log onto your appointment:

  • Go to
  • Log in with your password.
  • You will see a blue bar at the top of your screen 10 minutes prior to your appointment time followed by a green bar at the time of your appointment.  
  • Click Karen on the bar and you will be placed in the waiting room with the apple while you are waiting for Karen to join the session whether it is by tele-health or phone. Please note as with any appointment there may be a slight delay. Karen will join the session as quickly as possible.  
  • Sign out at the end of the session and call into Nutritional Guidance at 407-629-5504 to schedule your next appointment.

#3:  Recording your food

  • Go to
  • Log into your account using your password.
  • Go to food entry tab at the top of your screen.
  • Click on new entry button.
  • Upload written report of food with date and time of meals and commentary.
  • Click Post and this record will be saved in your account.

Note:  You have the option to record your food in a journal of your choice and scan or send the records to the email: [email protected]

#4:  Scheduling or changing an appointment

  • Appointments can be scheduled or changed by calling our office at 407-629-5504. Marlene, our administrator, will be available on Tuesday and Wednesday during normal business hours and will be checking the calls on Monday and Thursday of each week.  Please feel free to leave a message and you will receive a call back.

#5:  Obtaining weight and height data

The details for obtaining weight and height data will be decided during your assessment.  The following are detailed descriptions for those taking their own self weights or for those who have another designated responsible party or a medical clinician.  Please note that for a person selected to assist with the weight, there is a requested signature page of confidentiality that must be returned to Nutritional Guidance and placed within the patient account.
